Create and assign Geofence profile
Geofence is a virtual perimeter for a real-world geographic area. A geofence is useful to check all the activities of the Assets/vehicles in a geographic area. Users can receive alarms when the Assets enter or exit from the geofence.
- To create new geofence profile, go to configuration and click on Geofence tab.
- Click on the plus icon to create new Geofence profile
- In profile data section, Enter the name.
- Select alarm rules:
Inside means that the device only sends the geofence break alarms when entering the geofence.
Outside means that the device only sends the geofence break alarms when leaving the geofence.
Both means that the device sends the geofence break alarms from inside to outside and vice versa.
Both means that the device sends the geofence break alarms from inside to outside and vice versa.
Never means that the device sends the geofence break positions as stored messages.
- Select alarm conditions:
Always Every time when conditions for Fence break events are matched.
Curfew: if the target unit has been assigned a Curfew profile; in this case, if alert message timestamp is outside any defined Curfew period the received Fence-Break alert is not generated.

- Select severity, possible values are: Low, Medium and High.
- Use drawing tool to draw the geofence on the map.
- In the assignment section, select the vehicles to assign this geofence profile.
- Click on three dots and select notification groups to assign notification groups to this geofence profile.
